No... nothing.
I have sent numerous e-mails... no replies.
I am NOT impressed with this company's customer support / contact.
When I made payment through PayPal... I never received an order confirmation. I only received the notice from PayPal that the payment had been made.
Usually... company's do not charge for an order until it has been shipped.
When this company asked for an e-mail to "reconfirm" my order and address... the e-mails bounced.
The notice to reconfirm was posted on their website, NOT from an e-mail sent directly to me.
If I had not checked the website... I would not be getting my order, even though payment has been made.
I really hope these faceplates are worth the wait and money.
If not... I will unleash an internet wrath on this company.

I received confirmation of address notice a long time ago. Then I saw on the site that I had to confirm. So I sent the confirmation and received one bounced email and one email stating they received my confirmation. The bounced email was just from a forwarding email address that no longer exists I believe. You Should have received at least the confirmation email if you pre-ordered early. I hope I'll get my tracking number this week as promised.

Just checked the website and I'm guessing next week we'll get something even though this is the 3RD week of October. I can't wait!

Guys,
We are sending out the first wave of Asterix Faceplates tomorrow.
Techrepjapan,
We are getting plenty of orders for this premium product and as a business concern, we have to ensure our customers get the products they paid for to the correct addresses. Sometimes, (in fact, alot of the time), the paypal addresses are not the actual addresses or may be incomplete for some reason, hence some confirmation is required. We are protecting all customers rights to actually get their pre-ordered products to the correct addresses instead of sending it to timbaktu. This additional confirmation requires time as being in the internet business for such a long time, experience tells us that it is not a pleasant experience for both the customers and our company when goods get lost in the mail for whatever reason (mostly due to wrong addresses).
So there you go. And as for your wrath, we certainly welcome it confidently, no holds barred.
Ray

Did anyone receive their pre-order yet?
I finally received my shipping notice.
I will post a full review with photos, as soon as I get it and install it.
As for my previous posts... I am still NOT impressed with this company's customer service and contact.edited: Oct 25 2005

Alright…
I got mine. It's a Liquid Silver one.
It looks sweet as. Not 'as' good quality as the original one, but still good, pretty much what I expected… It's not like those cheap phone covers at all, it feel solid.
-The general look of the faceplate is great, it really stands out. I think it was a bit overpriced for what it is, but if you want it you have to pay, simple.
-The screen is great nice and clear and it runs flush with the rest of the face, no complaints here.
-The control pad felt a little 'clicky' and I was a little bit disappointed with this at first, but after a couple hours gaming it felt just like the original one, same goes with the buttons... the gaming buttons that is...
-It all lines up perfect with the body of the PSP, very snug indeed.
-It would have been nice to have the SonyPSP logo on it, but I guess there would be a copy write issue with Sony… a nice custom logo would be cool.
-Installation.. This was easy, the online instructions cover it well, except... the bottom row of buttons (Home volume etc) need to be cut separately for them to work. The first time I assembled it the volume buttons were pushed down on the home button and rendered them useless. I thought I just didn't line them up, but I tried again and then same thing happened(grrrr) So, anyway, after cutting them separate it all worked fine so this wasn't really a big deal at all, it just meant I had to go through the installation a couple of times.
-The analog controller looks a bit cheap as there is a plastic bit on the back that can be seen as it is clear(the pic might show this), no big deal, but still…
*Note - Be careful not to over tight the screws… make sure you have no dust on the inside of it… and take your time.
Overall I'm glad I got one.. Here's some pics of mine…

I got mine too. It's also the silver one. However, the buttons it came with are a mix of the clear and the white variety. Is it the same with yours?

First Impressions:
The faceplate was preinstalled with the lens and all the parts were set on the faceplate and supported by a dense foam material to prevent movement and scratches. The lens itself was void of any major defects, very clear, but there was some sticky dirty stuff on 2 points on the front that I had to use soap and warm water to get it out. The faceplate is as advertised with minor superficial scratches that are difficult to see. The buttons are very well made. And ,as iLLK mentioned, the thumb pad has a noticeable pale spot underneath from the manufacturing process which is only visible if you have the clear thumb pad, other non transparent colors would mask it.
Good product overall but not really worth the price. I'd buy the buttons though, it's very well made.

The home, start, volume etc buttons are don't have a white backing like the control buttons... I think this is because the text on the buttons are white aswell, it doesn't really bother me...

I know how not to void your warranty. The PSP itself says it will only be voided if the sticker inside the battery pack is damaged or removed all you have to do is take a sharp knife and lift up the sticker a wola your in
