Is this made out of plastic or metal? I would like to see what it looks like on a PSP.
+
link keep scrolling down and there are pics of the buttons on with the face plate on the psp too
+
this would be really sweet if it had the sony logo on it or at least had psp on the bottom
+
I hope it doesn't void the warrenty...hmm.
Maybe I'll just get it when my warrenty expires :D
+
For those worried about the warranty.. Why not put this on.. if something bad happens to your PSP, pop the original faceplate back on and take it back. The monkey at Best Buy or EBGames isn't going to know when you bring it back and ask for an exchange for a new one. Especially for those that purchased the extended warranty like me.
+
Actually on one messageboard I read that a guy unscrewed the faceplate of his PSP to do sth and while screwing it back together the LCD cracked due to internal stress.
+
warranty... i got my psp at costco/ come with lifetime warranty and thats if you are a member......
+
If you use handtight the screws and don't use a 14 volt drill you will not crack your faceplate.

Doesn't a little piece of tape that says "VOID IF BROKEN" rip off when you remove the faceplate?

After looking at the photos of the removal and installation... I'M GETTING IT!
I don't care about any damn warranty... never use them any way.
+
"link the instruction are complex "
haha, Are you serious!? I just ordered one and will review it when it arrives. If the picures are any indication, I think it will be awesome.
+
imagine....
A whole new way of customization....
light-up psp, paint your own psp,all kinds of diferent desighns, hundreds of colors
also there could be other diferent colored parts, like the whole back plate, or the l and r buttons
a completely orange psp! now that would be awesome
+
Yea... I think Sony missed a money making opportunitity on this.
Their could be all styles and types of faceplates... not just different colors.
