Large add on battery that attaches flush with the back of your PSP adding some width. It makes the PSP thicker opposed to a big battery buldge.
It uses the standard PSP AC charger to charge/power the battery. It will add 5-6 hours of play time to your standard PSP charge.

How much is that in USD? That looks like a battery I might actually pick up, if I can't get my hands on a good 3600mah battery.

Why so damn big? I'll stick to my 3 power bricks. Why do I have 3? Funny story. Did I say funny? I meant intensely boring. Anyway that's how I lost my first tooth and swallowed it because it lodged in a Cheerio hole.

Anyone else sick of hearing "It's ugly" or "It'll void your warranty" or "why so big" for every new thread?

Not really. This thing is too damn big, to the point where it won't even fit in cases anymore. And ugly things have a tendency to attract criticism. Warranty I could care less about, so I guess I am tired of everybody complaining about that. I think I'm more tired of people complaining about other posts.

this looks good. no umd acess tho, i dunno if it would be that much of a pain to take it off, change umds, then put it back on.

just curious, with any other external battery, does the PSP drains the external power then internal? that seems to the be the case logically, i'm asking cuz with no UMD access, you'd have to take the battery off then back on to change UMDs...also, not sure about the PSP, but in general with all other electronics, it'd usually not a good idea to constantly plug and unplug the external power source. now, when i say constantly, i dont mean every few seconds...but more often than normal.
also, the manual for the PSP says not to plug in the adapter to the wall until after you plug it into the PSP, now, that'd would prolly mean that the brick (the thing between the wall plug and the PSP unit) serves as a surge protector, like the bricks for laptops...so back to this case of no UMD access...frequent pluggin and unpluggin of external battery would seems to be a bad idea...wouldnt you say? it'd be nice if they design a mechanism that allows UMD access without disrupting power supply......
sorry for draggin on...
