I'm not into racing games, but these graphics look REALLY good. Much better than those of the Initial D game that was before.

WTH....are those screenshots actually from the PSP...it looks better than its PS2 version
+
err, you guys are joking right? check out the full size screenshots at IGN, the texturing is horrid, especially on the buildings
+
Midnight, I understand what you mean, but when a game is in actual motion, it's not that bad. Even though we haven't seen any vids of this yet.
+
The buildings and textures always look bad in racers. They're blurs most of the time.

i want this i love racing games

Too many racing titles for the PSP, anyone?

I wouldnt say that, Ridge Racers and Wipeout Pure have lovely roadside textures and buildings (bloom effects in Pure rock), and they arent a blur when you are approaching a building from the front, only the building directly beside you are a blur.
Its not hard to make nice looking building textures (I know, i've done it many times ), and it does make a difference, thats why the Project Gotham 3 guys are so proud of what they have acheived with their buildings on the xbox360 making them photo-realistic. I know the PSP doesnt have anywhere near the power of the 360, but a little time and effort creating nice textures would be nice.
Look at the third picture in, the three buildings on the right all have different scale on the textures and they are extremely low res, it just looks wrong

ilian123 said: "the graphic sucks, better get RR" People are so obsessed with graphics. Geez. (These graphics look better than RR, but yes, Ridge Racer owns all racing games out.) That is, until Burnout Legends comes out and get perfect reviews and puts the DS to shame. bruhaha JK DS lovers.

GTALCS, juiced aint that great a game either on the PS2, but there is no way it looks better than Ridge, it isnt even close

ill i gotta say is
"Midnight Club 3"

Own this bad boy on pc, race under a few different alias' online, and gotta say hanging out for this racer more than any other racer i've played in the last 5 years easy. Perfect blend of arcade and sim handling, this sh!7 be addictive mon. And hardware bloom etc on the psp, coupled with this screen, should be killer, and hopefully it's one of the releases next year that uses the full 333mhz, if it does watch out! Top of my most wanted list that's for sure. Every review i read pans the game, but last time i was online there were over 50,000 peeps playing online :O
Good to see the nitro cheat has finally been deatl with too... A rant for another day, in a different time.

God i want this game...
