I like it as I dont have to have a bunch of stuff on my desk. The mouse completly hides the card ready aspect of it. I bet you wouldnt even know it was there until it flipped open. It makes sense to combine things like that as you need both, but you dont need to have another device laying around.

It's only natural to put that here as card readers arent that common. I never even considered one till I got my PSP. It's nice to plug the card into the PC without having to deal with the PSP's USB mode. It conserves batteries on the PSP also.

And for putting a USB port on it? Well that would be a bit combersome as the mouse could be restricted by cords from the USB device. It would make more sense to have a USB port on your keyboard. Heck a keyboard with a USB port and card reader built in would be pretty slick.

I would totally buy that. Man, there isn't anything you should have to do without a good flying disk involved.

I wouldn't buy one because it's not wireless or Logitech. . . .but I like the concept and you KNOW this is going to be a favourite stash spot for more than a few little stoner kids. . . .

Ok I can see the relationship with the fact that its a Pro Duo card reader but the question that comes to mind for me is not the relationship to the PSP but why the heck it was integrated into a mouse?

There are Pro Duo readers that come in the form of a PC Card so why not post that? Then again who was the company who made this and why a mouse? I mean next thing you see a monitor with Pro Duo readers, then a gaming controller, finally there will be a USB toaster with Pro Duo support. Sometimes a company must consider why they are combining two completely independent ideas into one product.

Sony made it. They're practically going wild with SD card slot intergration since they got the go-ahead.

dtg - you are some sort of wierd anti Sony nark are you? Lets talk logic eh?
Why is this useful?
1. Uses only 1 usb port - this is damn handy
2. Incorporated into something already sitting on your desk attached to you PC - damn handy again
3. Is pretty unobtrusive, ie you dont need to do much to 'get at it' - handy number 3..
4. Its made by a reputable company - would you prefer one made by NihWong in China.. ?
5. The PSP uses Pro Duo's .. and there are NOT alot of Pro Duo readers around this handy (see above points for handy rating).

To be honest whats wrong with a ProDuo in controller, or a monitor usb hub (you know usb are in monitors and controllers.. why is this any different?). And I cant wait for the day.. where my toaster can support ProDuo.. toaster racing anyone?

I think if you have a serious look at media and digital media in specific terms, having multiple places to transfer your data is _VERY_ handy.. (* see handy rating above )

1. most computers come with 4 or more usb ports. having it integrated into one usb device is a moot point
2. doesn't outweight the fact that you're having to use a subpar mouse.
3. depends on your definition of unobtrusive. this argument is pointless.
4. sony isn't known to make mouses. If it came from logitech, then I'd agree.
5. doesn't mean you need to sacrifice your mouse.

lol logic....

How can he be anti-sony if he is one of PSP411's mods?

Grover: Sorry but I didn't even look at the manufacturer.

My only point to the long reply I made was that I think a PC Card or USB device is more useful then a mouse. Unfortunately I already have a mouse that works better and I don't need another. So you see my point? Them providing it as something integrated into something else has made it completely useless for my situation.

Sorry if you guys disagree but I am entitled to my opinion about a product and I didn't intend to start a flame war over something so stupid...
