A rechargeable Lithium Ion battery adds 5 hours of playtime to the PSP. When in use, the PSP will utilize the power in the charger case first before draining its own battery. While charging, the PSP is charged first then the case is charged.
The PSP recognizes the charger case as an external power source so you can recharge your PSP from the case without having it plugged into the wall as long as the case has power. The case will actually transfer its power to the PSP's internal battery.
The charger case also features a 4 foot wire that will allow you to remove the PSP from the case to play while you are still using the cases power.
The case itself is a brushed anodized aluminum with a neoprene lining making it shock and water resistant.
oops apparently it comes with a cord so you can play it freely. So basically you are getting an awesome case, with a power brick. Not to mention its made better than both of those. HOT DAMN.
it looks huge, unless you werent planning on carrying psp in your pocket, i dont reccommend this case, if battery power is really a huge issue for you wait a month or 2 and im sure that well have tons of third party solutions to our problems. Mad catz has already announced a new battery.
I actually like the idea of the charger case. You can use it between classes (if your battery is dead, that is) and during your break (if one) at work. The best parts about it is the price and the extending cable so that you don't have to hold it when playing.
pspchargercase.com are M*TH*RF*CK*RS they stole my card. they will be investigated. . .when the packages they ordered reache thier house they will be busted.

$60 isnt bad for a case of this sort. It'll keep me entertained on a flight from Dallas to Munich, Germany easy. What is that? 3 hours stand. + 5 = 8 hours.
