The Cellboost model features a sleek design, fitting seamlessly into the standard AC charger port of the PSP and allowing gamers a better grip while restoring power to the dead or dying device within seconds, without using electrical outlets, battery changes or cords. The Cellboost unit simultaneously powers and charges the device; can be used in one charging session or several; and can be thrown away when the power is exhausted. Featuring the same patented technology as the company’s popular Cellboost product for the leading cell phone brands, the Cellboost for Sony PSP offers an instant and inexpensive battery power for today’s gamers.

Well what if you could buy it for $5 or so? (I froogled it for $8) For that low cost, it might be worth it. I mean maybe $8 is too much just to get a charge to play new games, but what if you are using the PSP as your connection to the web and are traveling. Maybe it's worth $8 to check your e-mail, go to the company intranet to create two new orders, then back to e-mail to let your customer know the order is in process? Sounds good to me. Or say the GPS is out for the PSP... Might be nice to have power to find the way out of the woods after you played GTA all night in your tent. It might not be the most practical thing for gaming ($8 for 4 hours - still better than the arcade), but this might be nice to carry in you bag if you intend to leave your laptop and only take your PSP to do you on-line correspondence. Gaming can wait till you get near an outlet or near your AC cable, but business cant. Or $8 isnt bad if you took a trip intending to play your PSP and forgot your A/C adaptor. There are a lot of applications where an extra charge could be handy.
