Sound is very good, curious if the high-end versions from ER, Shure, etc. are worth twice the price. Prefer Sony's "behind the neck" cord as opposed to the iPod/PSP "Y" type cable. With these, you can pull the buds out and still have them hanging around your neck so you can find them. Plus it keeps the cord out of the way better than hangind down in front. Fit well, I've never had them fall out. Can even wear under a motorcycle helmet, but tough getting it off without thinking you'll break the headphones. Had my pair for a couple of years, held up nicely with no problems. Lost the case, didn't do much anyway.
i had a lot of trouble with the rubber cushions coming off but i bought some replacement ear cushions off ebay. the ones i bought were actually for shure e2 headphones but they fit perfect and dont come off even if you pull or twist slightly. plus they stay in your ears better than the original ones. i have white exx71s and the cushions r black but its fine it still looks good.
