looks like better frequency response than the ex71, not sure about the 81.
straight Mini Plug
they are just asking for people to snap off headphone plugs.

I own these as well as the ex71 which I use at work .If i had to choose bettween the 2 i would have to vote for these. The sound is much nicer on the pans and they are cheaper. They are also quite comfortable and stay in place very well .If you like tight bass response go with the pans .If you like muddy base go with the ex71. My 2 cents.

J2, what would you say about clipping regardin the pans... i might get these on the way home.

No problems with clipping.I was actually very suprised when i bought these ..they were cheap and sounded great .After hearing them I thought I would check out other reviews on these buggers and all seemed to be great.Google them and try and find a poor review.Impresive for the price for sure.Im not a huge audiophile though so take this with a grain of salt. Cheers.

thanks K2, i mean if they sound "clarity" wise better than the 81's... then i'll pick some up after i'm done with some work and post another review o them.. I been looking for some good headphones that don't cost as much as the shure e2c's... even though thats what i want and I seriously doubt these are better than those reference quality headphones...

just don't want to spend 100 for something smaller than 2 quarters. (US ones)

Here's a link about getting the Shure e2c's for about $60, you don't have to drop a C-note.
