Uhhh, I think someone did the coversion wrong. Last time I checked 1000 yen was just about 1 dollar U.S. So this is like 10 dollars not 100.

I'm quite sure it cost way more than US$10... Been to Toyko recently... Its a whole different culture there... They are really brand concious...
The brand of this pouch is Head Porter, and its is quite a big brand there in Japan. I would say comparable to Gucci, LV and others but more for the teenage to young adult groups.
Here in Singapore, the imported Head Porter stuff are marked up by 50%... A simple tote bag would cost bout US$200...
Also one think i like about Japan is the people there are very honest. I have a friend who dropped his phone there 3 times on the train and got it back all three times.... I'm sure there are the odd ones that are not so honest, but people there are relatively honest...

yeah, 1000 yen is 10 dollars not 1. i was looking at it like it wasnt right myself for a sec, but yeah for yen you just minus the last 2 digits to estimate. but yeah, definately not paying that much money for this PSP purse lol.

This case is made by 'Porter', a renowned lugguage manufacturer regarded as being the japanese equivalent to Louis Vuitton. From what i've read the materials are second to none and the stitching is perfect on everything in their range. Apparently these are flying off the shelves in Japan (http://www.playstation.jp/scej/goods/pspictogram/porter/ ) Play asia has them for import (£80). Style wise, I think it's the best looking case i've seen by a country mile, but thats me. £80 is a lot of money but then again everything made by louis vuitton costs bucks but u still see people with them in every airport no?

What the hell is this thing suposed to be. 1/4 of the psp is showing and it is a $100. What if the whole psp is covered, that is extra material plus sowing wich makes it come to $125

I have one... but, I also live in Tokyo.
I would NOT use/wear this in the U.S.
Here in Tokyo... it is fashionalble and I never have to worry about someone stealing my PSP.
I have had a lot of Japanese look at this case in envy.
I have not been able to find this in any store that carries the Porter brand.
I ordered this from a Japanese website.
Porter is having a new PSP series released next week.
I will be selling THIS case after I get my new Porter case.
Yes... I paid $100.00 for it.
DAMN worth it, too!
