Hey captain, since you manage to get a review unit I'm gonna ask this question, is this thing heavier than the playgear pocket with the psp inside or lighter?

This case looks really neat, but I'm going to hold off on purchasing one until I actually see it in person. I thought the Nyko Theater Experience case was going to be cool too until I saw it. That case is friggin' huge! It's much larger than my Logitech case. If this case is a tad smaller than the Logitech and I hear good reviews, THEN I'll consider buying one.

I still like being able to customize my Logitech with inserts better...You KNOW the logitechs look bad ass with all the sweet inserts people make.
Stop trying to make yourselves feel better cause you don't have a Logitec Playgear!

I have the logitech playgear, even though I do like it its just too bulky. I also have the PDAir aluminum case which I like aswell because its alot slimmer. This case is like a combination of both with alot more features, minus the personalization factor.

Is it acceptable that I feel compelled to punch everyone on this thread who said "Logitech has inserts so it OWNZORS!!"?
1) You are maintaining a position that product A is better than product B because product A can have little pieces of paper strategically inserted into it. Think about that.
2) If the only way to make a case aesthetically appealing is to modify it then the case itself cannot be that incredibly by its own virtues.
3) The point of a case is storage and protection. If the Stealth Case can do a better job of this than the Logitech case then the Stealth Case is a better case.
4) Here are the side by side comparisons of both products:
Functions as a stand for watching video? Both
Allows the player to access all PSP buttons while in the case? Both
Protects the front and back of the PSP while leaving the corners accessible? Both
Allows a person to put little pieces of paper between the rubber inside and hard plastic outside? Logitech
Is made of aluminum, not crappy plastic: Mad Catz
Provides storage for extra Memory sticks: Mad Catz
Looks aesthetically appealing without modification: Mad Catz
Costs $19.99: Both
Is currently available: Logitech
Will be available in October: Both
Allows a user to access the rear UMD door without removing the PSP from the case? Mad Catz.
By simply looking at the two products we can plainly see that the Mad Catz case has more to offer even though it lacks the awesome ability to have little pieces of paper inserted into it.

Can a "case" have fanboys? 0J0 - Thanks for saying what many of us are thinking.

Heh, OJO always makes me laugh. Yep this case does seem to be the winner of comparisons. The only big thing I had about the Logitech case was the inability to change UMD's without having to take out your PSP. This case seems to do that and holds two memory sticks. I will be buying this if what captain has to say about it is good. Oh and OJO forgot one thing. They are the same exact retail price.

that is one of the more important things to me
if a case protects well enough = PGP, thats fine... but i think this thing is the ugliest thing i have ever seen honestly.
