Equilibrium transports you to a future where the world is at peace but emotions are gone. In the world of Equilibrium, war is a distant memory, as is music, art and poetry. Here, emotion is illegal and feeling is a crime punishable by death. Cleric John Preston (Christian Bale) is the government agent responsible for destroying those who resist the rules, but when forced to kill one of his own agents, begins to question everything. Now the man who has been trained to enforce the strict laws becomes the only person capable of overthrowing it.
This movie is sooooooo UNDERrated! This is one of the coolest movies. The style of it is crazy. People who are obsessed with the Matrix like to hate on it, but the movie rapes faces.
Underrated? You've got to be kidding. I nearly fell asleep at the inane plot, the over-borrowed action and the ridiculous characters. Please. I guess, to each their own. :/
plot!?!?! PLOT?!?!?!.... but look at the guns.... I didn't know what to expect when I cought this on cable. It's a fun action movie that has a lot of cool stuff in it. If you like the matrix, i.e. cool action and kick @$$ fights, then you'll like this. I didn't look for more than that in it and enjoyed it a lot.
I liked certain things about this much more than the Matrix. It does some things better, as the Matrix also does certain better than this movie. They're not necessarily the same or all that comparable, anyways.
GREAAAAAT MOVIEEE!!! The only way you saw this movie, is if you had a friend that saw it! Totally underrated! GREAT GREAT action scenes! The first five minutes alone will leave you in a puddle of your own urine...dont say i didnt warn you!
