I went through a LOT of effort and stress to put a Liquid Silver faceplate on my original PSP, but I really crave one of these. I wish I could see how the screen compares to the original one.
"theazhrei"... I have a BLACK PSP and a WHITE PSP.
I really prefer the WHITE PSP... even after I replaced my BLACK PSP faceplate with a clear blue faceplate.
"OrderOfChaos"... Well... I don't have "greasy little fingers", but you are correct in thinking that finger prints do not show up as easily.
"hokage"... Why would you want to change the software version?
The Japanese software and the U.S. software are exactly the same.
You can change the language in the settings.
The "X" and "O" key thing is dependant on the game, not the PSP.
well, i have my 2.71 white psp and to be honest, im happy.
It looks so much cooler, all modern style.
I did have a 2.5 but i updated to 2.71, I mean - sony aren't just patching hacks, their fixing bugs too. So I like updating

ionicman... You bought a WHITE PSP and you can play U.S. UMD movies in it?!
I find that hard to believe... since the WHITE PSP has only been released in Japan (soon to be released in EU).
There has been no U.S. WHITE PSP release.
