There some weird comments here... . Imagine if they launch a grey, a ping, an orange... there are people here who buy them all, and there are some Jap guys that will roll on the floor laughing of they dumbness. Nevermind, if you're happy with that, go ahead, make them buy an olympic pool.

It won't ever come to USA btw. In Japan there are different color PS2's for a very long time, yet North American market has only 1 color.

The white psp IS coming out for the US.. you dont NEED to buy 2 you can just trade ur black one in if you were smart enough to buy a warranty(i've traded my black one once already because i didnt like seeing soo many scratches)...you can buy face plates...i honestly dont like skins it.. "ruins" the psp... there "might" be other colors later other than white and black... you can play games forever and still have a life... i'm 16 with no job -.- and i still managed to have enough money to buy my psp.. the white one wont show finger prints but the black is sleek.. black IS NOT sony's official color.. its cool to have 2 but try having 5 (updated my friends' psp one night.. for a nice fee ^^).. ppl shouldnt argue over color.. after all its just a color.. spelt color not coloUr..$250... thats cheap for the psp cry about it all you want...but i know cell phones that cost more than that and they're WAY over priced (moto razr... well price went down but Still way too much for a phone use to be $400with contract) bobbarker.. who ever you may be. i'm 16 i just baught a brand new comp with my own money.. keep in mind.. --> still no job <-- and i own my psp and my 1GB mspro and several games... digi.. you rock. rub it in their faces buy as many as you like because you CAN. touch it ma be a gimmic but why the do we care its a matter of choice.. light up buttons that sounds awsome.. Techrep .oO~CONGRATULATIONS~Oo...its true white shows dirt but black shows it more...the picture might be a tad different but still matter of choice.. and (aperantly from all the ppl who typed on this review or w/e.) MONEY... . . racial slur.. wtf?!

the only reason why they made two colorse is for excatly this...marketing. people see it relize that they think it is cooool just becasue it is differnt and want so they go out and buy it. sony makes more money then. but just think what if the psp orginaly came out in white, then black came out would you buy the black becasue it is diffrent? prolly it isnt the mattter of color prefrence it is a phycological sales technique.

If the WHITE PSP came out before the black PSP... I would NOT have bought the black PSP.

I really would like one of these if for no other reason to be different from the 2 others in my house belonging to my son and daughter. Not to mention to be different from all my friends.

Why didn't sony just make a white and black at the same time? same product different look..is it that complicated.. i mean dont get me wrong the white looks soo slick. i would buy one even though i have a black one. is the white in english just like the black. or in japanese

they did it just to make people feel bad about what they bought, so they would go try and get this one instead, instantly doubling the money they've got off you. Looks like I'll be buying one.

so, I baught a black one, with a warranty, and when the white one comes, I can get it for my black one?

So now that i know the white one is versitale to my language needs ...i have a bunch of umd movies..and if i so happened to get a white psp would i ever be able to watch them? anyone think a system update will support US umd's or is it an internal thing?
