Comments 09/02/05 overachiever I saw it. There were too many characters to delve into induvidual emotions (if you want drama), and there wasn't that much sports-specific action (if you want football). Really all it is a an ispirational-type-almost-disney-except-rated-PG-13 movie. It got very emotional maybe once, but then it was happy (but not trasitioned too well) when one of the player's father gets drunk and does all sorts of carzy stuff. Then, all of a sudden, after losing a game, the father is like "I love you, son" and then they get along just fine. No, I didn’t do it, And I think I know you knew it. No reason to shout.
