Sin City is a violent city where the police department is as corrupt as the streets are deadly. In this movie, we follow three stories, the central of which is Marv, a tough-as-nails and nearly impossible to kill street fighter who goes on a rampage of vengeance when a beautiful woman, Goldie (King), he sleeps with for only one night is killed while lying in bed with him.
frist of all why the hell would you buy a movie for the psp? i mean this movie is great and all but why not just rent it on dvd and not have to waste money on a crapy umd movie?
I just went out at 12:45 AM to Wal-Mart to get this DVD (I wanted it for UMD too, but they didn't have it out yet). I would want this for UMD and not on my memory stick for a few reasons.
A) Overall quality is superior
B) I can take it with me plus OTHER movies that aren't on UMD on my 1GB stick (letting me carry more movies)
C) Finally because the movie kicks soooo much ass you need to own the original versions.
When I get this on UMD I will write a review ASAP (I should be getting this tommorow, well later today that is)
I picked this up for 2 reasons: 1) I love this mocie with a passion. 2) The DVD release out right now is bare-bones and not worth picking up until the Collectors Edition comes out real soon.
This makes a GREAT UMD! The picture quality is beautiful because of the original digital filming, the menua are equally gorgeous, the sound is LOUD, and it even has the special feature that's on the current DVD release. Got it at Circuit City on sale for 15 bucks! Definitely worth picking up.

Yay Sin City. Down with Wal-mart; it's an evil empire (unless you are a racist or misogynist).
It was cheap ($8) and Frank Miller is one of the greatest story tellers in comics. His Batman and Daredevil has been the standard for these characters. Plus this movie is artistically phenomenal, being true to Frank's art work - worth collecting on UMD as well as DVD if you are a fan.
If more movies were in this price range, UMD wouldn't have problems selling.
