this headphone/remote unit came with the value pack I bought. what moronic fool decided to make it white? incase he didn't notice, it's [b]BLACK[b/] also I wish the remote wuz cordlessbut atleast now I'll probably never lose it
Yeah I definitely would plunk down $40-50 on a LCD remote, as long as it didn't turn the screen on(damn you sony) Headphone wise, and staying within in the Sony family, I've been rocking the MDR-71s since about April when I got an ipod. These phones have great response from something like 3 hertz; plus they come with three sized rubbery things to fit your ear. And a bonus feature the cord is shorta and designed for an inline remote so the length is perfect with the cheap de facto remote.
I think when I get my value pack (well, the only option I had really :/) I'll just use my iPod earphones with the pads... I've not tried these yet, but my iPod earphones fit my ears perfectly, so why replace what's not broken?
As for the remote, well... I doubt I'll be using my PSP for music that much (viva la iPod!), so it probably won't be used.
I think the earphones are very good...they have a very good sound... the only thing is that it really depends on how you put them on your ears, because sometimes they start hurting a min. after I put them on and sometimes I can have it for hours w/out any problems. The cord is a little bit to long but if you disconect the remote it fits perfectly. Either way, you dont need the remote unless you are listening to music or watching a movie.
I absolutely hate ear bud headphones. I think it has something to do with an aversion to having things *in* my ear. So I bought a set of real headphones to play my PSP with. They work great.
People who complain about the accessories being "ugly" for it's white color are simple uncool guys. The contrast is very nice, it's hip, the girls love it. I have a friend of mine that has all black stuff, and most people think he has a pouch instead of our dream machine! People read some fashion mags, you'll get luckier (know what I mean?).
these earbuds do make your ear hurt after a few minutes of use. the remote is nice but of a cheap plastic material. i prefer the headbangers to the sony ones.
agreed, for me the problem is driving alone in my car and not being able to hear anything, and its on full vol!!! why reduce the ear pieces to 90 db??? do any of u know of any reali loud headphones?? link plz
I really don't understand why you think these headphones stink. I think their actually pretty nice and provide a light comfartable feel on my ears. This package came with my PSP and I think it's a pretty nice offer for coming with the PSP.
The earbuds look nice, but they don't work good. You might as well just buy new headphones that'll actually stay in yo ears. but be sure to keep da remote. that's worth keepin.
