The Car Station features a car adaptor with a unique cable management system that fits neatly into the car's cup holder. A separate tilt and swivel suction mount enables the user to stick the PSP onto the cup-holder adaptor, a window or any other flat surface – so you can watch PSP entertainment any which way you like.
Well this is a good idea, if your cup holder is in a good spot, mine would make my look way down to see the screen and would give me a realy sore neck.
Right. because if your rear view mirror is covered you can't see in front of you.. mind you I wouldn't suggest it anyway.
From the description it looks like this device isn't just for the cup holder. It says that it uses a suction cup system to attack to any flat surface, which includes the cupholder attachment.
I'm thinking the "ramming a school bus" is from either not seeing the bus 'cus the PSP is in the way, and/or hitting the bus 'cus he's watching a movie and not the road. But I like the idea of a holder that can clip to the rear-view. Anything in the driver's vision shouldn't be used while driving. I tried that while waiting in line at a drive-in theater, and even though we were just crawling along, I kept forgetting to move, or almost bumping into the car ahead of me, 'cus "Incredibles" was playing on my PSP for my kids up on the dashboard. If it can't be mounted BEHIND me, it won't be used while in motion.
i like the suction cup idea...it makes it easier to enjoy the movies in your car(where i have a much better sound system than in my apt). now if i could just hardwire the psp audio jack into my clarion deck, i'd be happier than heck. those damn fm modulators have HORRIBLE sound quality.
hey guys, the base has a whole lot of different style mounts, check this pic out... link Def getting one when they get released.
so now is every one too lazy to hold a psp?
(no offence to anyone)
but it seems kind of stupid to me
lol, you do realise it's for a car kit? So you can play your music (and movies if you feel so inclined) thru your car stereo for the express purpose of having somewhere for it to mount...
And yeah, i know i'm talking to 5 month old posts lmao! But it's so lonely here.... lol
i hope someone here has this and can tell me if the audio jack or headphone jack is accessible. im only going to be using this as an audio player with the monster fm transmitter.
thanks.
