great!! i played the first one and didn't really like it... it looked great, but felt really shallow... plus im probably wrong, but there just didn't seem like much complexity to it... were there even special moves outside of pressing square? i didn't really play the first one that much, but there just didn't seem to be any special movies really, apart from that *one* movie, and a few combos...) anyway, in this, some bloody amazing special moves, it finally feels like a real fighter... and the graphics are still excellent, its about time the psp had a decent fighter. pity its in japanese, but its an easy sacrifice to make for this game. oh, and more fighters, wicked!!

I have the japanese version of this game and it's pretty good! There's a decent amount of characters and while I would have liked more stages, the ones available are done so well that I don't really care. The fighting itself is fun and fast paced, but might take a bit of getting used to. The graphics are beautiful, you really need to see them in person on a PSP, the screenshots do NOT do it justice. On that note; the sound is good too, the voice acting & sound effects are are right on the spot and the music, while not the greatest, doesn't get repetitive and helps set the mood. Speaking of that I absolutely love the menu music. All in all, this title should be loads of fun for any fan of fighting games.

Game ain't that great. It's basically the first one with twice the characters and a couple extra play modes. On the bright side, the new characters that they've added are a lot more fun to play than the original 5. To the folks who may have thought that Renji from the first game was cheesy, you ain't seen nothing until you've used Byakuya or Yoruichi and abused the hell out of their flash step. Also, the Radio Kon segments were quite fun, even though I know not a single word of japanese. Bottom line, if you're a fan, then you're gonna get it anyway for the extras. The rest shouldn't bother, as it's still basically the same game; graphics, fighting engine, and all.

i think bleach 2 is good, it would be even better if i understood japanese for the story mode, if any1 has information on the 13 corpses part, the mode with byakuya on the main menu, pls post it

It's a fun game, but if you didn't like the first one, you won't like this.
It's more of the same, with the addition of a few new playable characters. The balance is horribly skewed, but it's not really intended for hardcore fighting fans, but more for fans of Bleach.
If you like Bleach, this will be a great game for you, but as a fighter it's pretty simple. Still a solid import, don't expect to see it stateside since Bleach isn't even liscened here (For reasons beyond me)

It has 13 characters total this time, with supposedly more downloadable characters later on. The game plays pretty much the same as the first one, with improvements in a few areas, such as the amount of money you make from playing Survival (a lot more $). Overall, I think it is much better and complete comparing to the first one, and anyone who loves Bleach or just love nicely presented anime fighters should buy this. Oh, the new opening song by Uverworld - "Chance" is great!

LOL agree with Josh, i personally love the game, blew me away the first time i played it, i was like, jebus, the psp can do this? Has a counter/block and Ki charging system, i can't get enough of it, now if i lived in Japan i'd be able to watch this show primetime (7.30pm-8pm) everynight of the week...

Good game if your a fan. It moves a bit faster than the first one and there are alot more options. I agree that they should make more of an adventure game out of it than just fighting all the time. Still it seems to only be getting better. Can't wait for the next one.

I have the Japanese version of this game. I cant understand a god damn thing but damn the graphics are SUH WEET! Very nice backgrounds and great gameplay. I recomend this fighter and hey DUDERS there IS a story mode. I have not played anyone AD hOC VERSUS mode yet but im waiting. Bring it on! Review 8/10.

and bleach 3 is coming out that looks like its gonna rock, 33 characters, ill sell my bleach 2 and get bleach 3
