All cases are virtually indestructible and carry a lifetime guarantee. Clear cases are made of High Impact Polycarbonate, the same material used for motorcycle windshields and helmets. The colored cases are made of High Impact 5% Glass Filled ABS.
Some of the unique features: Waterproof (spillproof)– with a silicone O ring, the case can be dropped in water and will float, not allowing any water inside. Dustproof – once closed and latched, nothing can get inside to damage the contents. Crushproof-people have actually driven their vehicles over the 3000 Case with no damage done (we do not suggest this however).
Outside Dims. 8.375”L x 4.375”W x 4.000”D
Inside Dims. 7.875”L x 3.875”W x 3.625”D
Weight 1.03 lbs.

COpilot. exactly my point

strange, so much padding below the psp but so few above it, i figured it would be somewhere in the middle.

You guys who bash this thing don't know what you're talking about.
You -do- realize that this is made by the same company that makes professional-grade equipment that is virtually indestructable, as well as waterproof? While it's not the most glamorous case out there, I'd rather have my PSP in a 3500 and have it accidentally fall off the side of the boat than if it were in my PlayGear Pocket.
Not that anyone would carry thier PSP on a boat or anything... o.O' but I mean, come on, look closely, this thing has durability.
+
the whole thing isnt protection... it stores more stuff under... but its still SO FUNNY HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA..... you can bring your fridge, a tv and your laptop along with your psp..... im sure it does a great job of protecting but this is 1) too big, 2) looks like a car battery 3) is ugly
+
oh my lord, this just made me crack up so much!!!!!!! looks like a lunchbox with foam...
+
Ok good idea for storing away the PSP because, we don't use it daily and if we did we can't set it on a desk or carry it in our pockets on car trips and even if this actually was a good idea.
Why the heck is it baby blue????
+
lol it reminds me of like those old lunch pales when i was in like 1st grade hahaaaedited: Jun 29 2005

digi said: "so someone that is moving and needs a place to safely store and protect their PSP is stupid?"
Protecting the PSP when moving - no. Buying a special product for this - YES!
Common guys - it's a ugly plastic box - you can use something else which is free or far cheaper if you are moving or even travelling. People buying this should get their head checked !
Seems to me that some companies are having trouble to coming up with good ideas for PSP accessories !edited: Jun 30 2005

IT LOOKS LIKE A TAKLE BOX 4 FISHING EXUIPMENT {cant spell good}
+
LMAO thats what it looks like a BAIT BOX!! ohh and to the guy with the sarcasim and statment about moving...am sure the 00.2% of psp owners moving will be enough to make this box a best seller-.-'

I'm currently designing a new PSP case/protector - not quite sure about the price yet, but it will be built with a 10 feet thick steel-enforced concrete shells, lined with hand-picked Egyptian cotton, water-proof sealing and have 10.000 UMD slots and room enough for a complete 5.1 Cerwin Vega speaker set and spare rubber gloves. The shell is 100% guranteed to protect your $250,- investment... however we expect the protector to cost about $3000-5000,- ... but it will be worth it - just imagine having to buy a new PSP !edited: Jun 30 2005

again, you're smart, and anyone that wants to invest in an airtight tank like FOUR INCH tall case are dumb asses. I agree, i'm stupid. People that protect a $250 device with something that costs 19-29$ are stupid. you're right.
+
Well let me toss some beers in the bottom, a bag of ice and off to the lake i go lol.
+
Digi, it's not a case - it's a plastic bucket
+
if you say so. I have other cases like this for other pieces of gear, and I would honestly rather get something like this than put the psp back in foam and use it's original box to pack it away.
