All cases are virtually indestructible and carry a lifetime guarantee. Clear cases are made of High Impact Polycarbonate, the same material used for motorcycle windshields and helmets. The colored cases are made of High Impact 5% Glass Filled ABS.
Some of the unique features: Waterproof (spillproof)– with a silicone O ring, the case can be dropped in water and will float, not allowing any water inside. Dustproof – once closed and latched, nothing can get inside to damage the contents. Crushproof-people have actually driven their vehicles over the 3000 Case with no damage done (we do not suggest this however).

oh rad, it's a pelican case, just the thing i needed to remember before i go to fry's electronics tonight. gonna pick one up
they generally range anywhere between 19.99 US to 500.00 US. this one is 19.99 at fry's. they can be run over by cars, and your psp wouldn't be hurt inside. thats how amazing these cases are. They are primarily used in large scale high quality equipment protection, such as the film industry an extremely expensive HD dv cams.
just looked at the site, thats funny, they must have some sort of resale contract with pelican, those are in fact pelican cases that "primecases"are selling though. link
I think a few different manufacturers are selling these cases. I have a feeling it's an ODM type situation where mfg's get to rebrand a pre-manufactured case.
As a back up on this product and the company that makes them and other cases, they are as hard as rock and will almost nearly NEVER break. It's one of those things you can get to keep something safe and have it for almost your whole life.
I have this. I bought this for the HP Jornada 720 on ebay. About $5. I put the psp with the original soft case inside this one. Well now is about $18: link
Hey Xattica,
S3 has a custom foam insert that holds the PSP in place. Your right though, the regular case sold by S3 can hold the PSP with the sleeve, but the original style case doesn't have the custom foam insert like the newest version. How do you like your case?

You sure those are Pelican cases on that site? They look different and the site references 'S3' as the case manufacturer.

which is why it says s3 on the box.... this is smarter than the 3500 and at least it doesnt look like a car battery... but whatever, if ppl want to store a fridge with their psp so they can... eat while watching movies.... the 3500 is good for that...
