giorgio.. I wasn't talking to you, if you read my post, sheep is asking if you can play movies on the psp from the X5, while connected.

So, has anyone tried this transfering from an external device to PSP? is it battery draining for both devices? I'm thinking that unless your away from a PC for a long time(days? weeks?) this wouldn't be worth it. I' m at a PC most of the day and then at night so I can swap movies on my 1gb card daily... I would like to know if it is worth it from someone who has both a PSP & a HD hosting device... Im thinking of just getting seperate HD(120gb) at home for PSP videos.

this has a much much better battery life then the sten and there is a newer model coming out iaudio x5L that is a 35hr battery and is only slightly larger. For someone to compare a player that has that many features that i linked and thinks the steno is better...your crazy

 Own it
Id get this anyday but... sadle it costs the same price of ma psp so no use gettin. but then y would i have a computer if i juss had that thing

Hmm.. about the Steno and the X5, I wouldn't diss either one.. they're both different and I think they would both be easily satisfactory for different people, i.e. for people who can afford the X5 without breakin a sweat, willl enjoy its capacity, features, and little nice screen (which I could care less about), but for people like ME, where the extra 150 dollars might be a little harder to let go, I'd love saving the money AND getting an extra 20 GB anyday, while of course sacrificing a bunch of cool features, but still I'd do it gladly.
Now about the PSP and any USB mass storage device,... I'm thinking about buying one to save money and get value, like 40 GB for 150 bucks, or 1 GB duo for 150 bucks, ya know? But then I thought about it... wouldn't I have to have at least a 1 GB duo to play full movies anyways? If it cant stream? Because you would still need the 1 GB duo to hold the movie on the psp, you'd just be able to have like 30 more movies ready to switch out whenever you wanted to on the Steno, right? Because if thats the case, where it would just enable you to bring a library of hundreds of family guy or Bleach episodes around to play on the PSP.. then I'm fine with my 512 duo right now =..

do u think i could get this
link
to work with the psp?
+
wait, if your memory stick is only 32mb doesn't that mean that the PSP can still only play videos the size of 32mb or less even with this thing?
As far as i can tell this is only a hard drive which you can take files off and put into your MS.

this is SWEET i WanT i NEED JOB *-*

for the people that are saying this is expensive, u have to realize that u not just getting a hard drive to store things. this is one of the best mp3 players on the market right now, audio quality is suppose one of the best. yes, way better than the ipod. on top of that it supports ogg and flac and is suppose to have really good bass
also this thing uses a 1.8in hard drive so its much smaller than the steno
next time i take a long trip i'm definitely getting one of these

The iAudio X5L is what I've been eyeing (30gb)... However, that's my impractical side talking- since I already have a 60Gb Share Steno. Although I've toyed of buying the new Ipod-- the X5 w/ 30gb is looking a lot better. If i do, the Share STeno is not altogether a waste- but a perfect companion for our Laptop as a USB external HD. Problem is, i'm holding out $$ right now for the release of the PS3. So the AudioX5 would have to wait.
