These games are ALL classics, and it will great to play them again! I really look forward to some multi-player Galaga with friends, especially!

looks like a nice rental i would never buy it though due to the prices psp games will be. I dont think the classics are worth that amount of money
+
i cant wait there gonnah be awsome classics
+
Per IGN this game will also have the ability to download a sampling to someone that hasn't purchased the UMD so they can play the games.
Not for multiplayer use...And the games are not recorded to the memory card....Just into volitale RAM

A new Pac-Man, Dig-Dug and Galaga game for ~$10 each (going by the Japanese pricing), sounds like a good deal to me.
+
i agree that $10 pricing is right (though i bet the UMD costs $4), though i have some concern about how they are going to orient pac-man. It was for a widescreen format but the screen stood up tall instead of wide like the PSP
+
Thats how pac man should be! and all the rest of the games are fun too!
+
How can you not love Pac-Man. The only popular culture figure inspired by a Pizza with one slice missing. Personally I will not buy it unless I win a large cash prize of some sort but hey...
+
Pac Man is just like going clubbing. Your in a dark room listening to repetitive music popping pills. It's great.
+
Gotta love the classics. This is a must buy.

** FAIR WARNING: The American release (just out today, 08/24/05) REQUIRES you to UPDATE system software to v1.52! ** If you're trying to preserve your 1.50, don't buy this. As for me, that's a real bummer, because I really want to run this (and let's face it, by the time GTA comes out, who isn't going to upgrade to 2.0, etc, if they 'force you' to do so). Besides, I just got done reviewing/downloading the Web browser manual, and it looks pretty good. And, I do have MAME running on my v1.50, but that's really a pain in the #@$#: you spend hours trying to load games which may or may not run (all I got to run was Galaxian and PacMan). As far as "reviewing" this game... is that really necessary? --If you like classic games, this gives you 20 of 'em (plus the 4 're-envisioned' games). Maybe I'll throw an actual review up after I do the dirty deed and upgrade to 2.0. **** ONE MORE NOTICE: the "game-sharing" option should be called "lame-sharing": according to the manual, you can send the 1st level of 10 of the classic games to a friend's PSP, but even that is gone once their PSP is powered down. I really thought this was going to be 'true sharing' (ie: able to use the wiFi head-to-head with only 1 game --- now that's what the PSP needs to really get everyone excited: you have to buy games for 1 player action, but could link up with as many people as you can find with only 1 copy).

This game is OK I like the arranged games Pacman and Galactica are awesome
