i didnt even realize that this game was megaman by looking at the screenshots. i guess he doesnt have the helmet anymore, but i hope he still has that dog to ride on like a hover board this could be pretty awesome, i hope they stay true to the classics to some extent.

um i dunno...the graphics suck and i didnt enjoy the one for n64 too much when i rented it. They should have made side-scrolling megaman x series game.

In the original Megaman Legends games, the helmet was an upgrade you eventually earned. Also, this is the only Megaman game aside from Battle Network that I can think of where Megaman can become "dark". If you kicked civilians and such in this game, he started to turn black.

Megaman Legends was released for the Playstation in 1997, followed by a N64 release in 1999 (known as Megaman 64). It was the first game, IMO, to do 3-D combat right. It had extremely well oiled controls (at least the Playstation version did, the N64 version, not so much) despite it using only the d-pad. It was extremely fun, albeit a tad short, and easy. There were some frustrating moments, but it was much easier than the 2-D Megaman titles.

He earned his helmet as an upgrade in this game. Also, there were a ton of special weapons you could "build" by finding the parts and having Roll (your sidekick, bed-buddy, j/k) fix em' up into a brand spaken new weapon.

I hope the PSP version maintains the original Playstation version's quality. Frankly, I wasn't impressed by the N64 version. It had a lower resolution and it just didn't look as clean as the Playstation version. It seemed rushed, IMO. Then again, that was one of Capcom's first N64 games... :P

Wait... This is Megaman Legends 2... ROFL at my stupidity. :P

It was released for the Playstation in 2001, I believe. I haven't played it yet, though.

Oh well, here's a good reason to play it.

no they should make a megaman exe game like battle transmission except make it not suck that would be cool to have the style changes or maybee a megaman zero game that would be cool

I also think they should have made a sidecrolling game, but 3d..and original. The graphics look a little..eh.

Actually it's a really cool game if you don't mind the Japanese. I imported this as well as the Mega Man X game. I think they're both good, but the X game's a bit better in my opinion.
