something this size i would have thought would quadruple the battery life of a psp... but then again im going off the 3800mah battery and i have no size comparison. i would assume that that external battery is smaller than a psp. i might just get one and end up doing a mod or something.

gotta agree with the guy above because the battery in the psp is half the size of this thing so wouldn't it be a lot more?

Well, if you checked the site out it more than doubles the time you can play, here is basically what the image says:
Hard Performance:3hr 30min (PSP battery), 12hr 17 min (PSP+their battery) Tested with Ridge Racer
Heavy UMD Graphics:5hr 9min (PSP battery), 18hr (PSP+their battery) Tested with Vampire Chroincle: The Chaos Tower
Wi-Fi Gameplay:2hr 46 min (PSP battery, I assume this means with WLAN switch on), 9hr 51min (PSP+their battery) Tested with Ridge Racer
MP3:10hr 39min (PSP battery), 37hr 21min (PSP+their battery) Tested with Memory Stick (duh)
So all in all it adds about 2-3 times the battery life and it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb like the power brick and a few others do, plus it comes in different colors. Sadly, no price is listed for it as of yet.

Did anyone read where it states that "minimum orders are NEGOTIABLE"?? Please call? I assume that a single order will be charged an outrageous shipping cost overseas if you have to call first.
Bummer, I like them too.

is that the only place u can buy them? i hope there will be a website that will have it up for purchase. I think a company should make a battery/case that is playable in the case like this battery but with a cover

the more I see this type of thing, the more I'm just inclined to get one of those spare batteries that you charge the psp from, and carry it in the satchel I have the psp in.

i heard about some new types of batteries that were developed a while back, its a new type of lithium polymer battery that can hold about 30times more than the standard. sorry i dont have an links, but my point is that i hope sony will come out with a better main battery for the psp within a year or two.
