Looks very interesting, can't wait for more details. Is this by the company that started the "case design" thread?

No, Vaja is an established leather case designer, as you can see from their page, they do loads of cases for iPods, laptops, PDA's and other gear. We should hopefully have a review very soon of this one.

Curious, the middle picture showing UMD access looks like a different case than the other two pics.

doesn't protect the entire PSP. No thanks, try again.

GT, I think it is made up of different colours. The first pic seems to show the case with a yellow/black case and the second is yellow/grey.
kcrhodes, what case that allows you to play it while in case, entirely protects the PSP?

Yeah, Capt., I see it comes in different colors, but looking at the second picture, I can't see how that fits in with the first picture that shows the cover flipping back over where the second one shows two leather straps with buttons and a UMD door.
Or are my eyes having a relativity/perspective problem?

There seem to be a lot of cases that have multiple slots for mem stick storage. Do these case producers know something we don't about future availability, pricing and usage of mem sticks? Seems strange when most things I read talk about how PSP multimedia isn't really taking off yet in the mainstream.

I have a feeling they put them on because it's so easy to. IE, "why not?" or "may as well".

Which is not the concept with this kind of "case".

Still $180 is absurd unless you have money to throw away. There are other leather cases/pouches that are nowhere near this cost.
Good luck! Nobody will buy this (except for maybe a small number of wealthy psp owners).

$180?!??! I think that I'd rather just buy a new PSP in the event that mine broke, not pay $20 less than the price to protect something that probably won't break1

$180 for case. $199 for basic PSP model (no movie or earphones remote). Hmmmm. Why not just buy a spare PSP so you can throw around the first one? Seems silly to have a case $10 cheaper than the actual unit.

yes vaja makes very high quality cases so a price of $180.00 is a bit pricy even for them but i think the price will come down later. All their new products are expensive for a while.
P.S- I got verizon FIOS installed today and its fast as hell, 5 meg download! I was wondering who else got it?edited: Jun 17 2005
