Traditionally, a systems success was determined by the ammount and quality (at least during the 16-bit era) of its RPGs. The NES had Final Fantasy, Dragon Warrior, Zelda; The SNES had Chrono Trigger, FFIII (FFVI), Zelda; the Game Boy had countless RPGs; the GBC had dozens of its own; the PSX...PSOne had Chrono Cross, FFVII; the PS2, much as I hate to say it, had FFX, Xenosaga, and a few of its own; and the GBA has dozens of its own.
So now I ask this: Why doesn't Sony push to have this game (or any of the other RPGs in Japan already, for that matter) translated and brought over ASAP? The Nintendo DS already has its own list of RPGs coming out in the US available, with more to be announced in a few days. But the only Sony PSP RPGs announced are JAPAN ONLY, with US release being strictly TBA.
Just remember, people: powerful hardware won't win the war for you, you need great games. Just look at what the Game Boy has been up against for the past decade...

damn!!! why tales of eternia? tales of destiny was my fav from all of the tales... but i still played this.. and it was a kick ass game... made me stay up for hours then my mom would tell me to goh to sleep... anyweys.. good game.. hope it comes out on english.

The Gamecube one was great. I really want this game, has it been officially announced for US yet? If not, does anyone know where I could import it? Will it play in English on my US PSP?

Is Eternia's gameplay like Symphonia for Gamecube? You know, the action based fights...or is this a turn based RPG?

Tales of Simphonia was great (GC) (some posts about it in my blog link ) anybody have any idea when/if the us version is coming out??
Tales of Phantasia (SNES) had a very similar battle interface, so I would assume that all the Tales games are like that, Eternia included...edited: Aug 16 2005

PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE let this game come to the states! it looks so cool! i wont import so please let it come to the us (i dont see why not) GCN tales is one of my all time fave RPGs so this has to come to the states.

Tales of Symphonia was great! I only played about half of this on the PSX/PS1 and it was really fun.

NEWS BREAK: Ubisoft announced that they would be making an version of this for europe (crosses fingers in hopes it will be english)
