I could see hooking that up in a hotel room or something. Otherwise its not particularly portable. For home use, the speaker dock looks like a better solution. The iPod isn't really meant to be held while in use, the PSP is. I would love to use my PSP as an mp3 player but taking into account that after you pay for your PSP, you then need to spend money on a decent pair of speakers and then a big memory stick.
