I just tried to apply my martin fields and it trapped a lot of dust underneath it and i tried to wash it but it just didn't work and i had these huge bubbles that wouldnt move and i think a piece of dust trapped underneath it might have scratched my screen. could someone plz help me to apply it properly

so much for martin fields being bubble-free, eh pixelator? i'm very happy with my mad catz protectors that came with my "monstrous pak", and i got 4 of them for what you guys paid for 1 martin.

I actually just got the pelican screen protectors (2 pack for 10 bucks) and i ruined one on the first try to get it on (dropped it and got crap stuck to the bottom that wouldn't wash) but once i applied it correctly it works like a charm!

First off, you get what you pay for. If you want to get snarky about it, fine - I don't really care what overlay you choose. I'm just sharing my findings based on owning several PDAs with them, as well as this one for the PSP.

Second, I never said they went on magically with no problems and no effort. They're kind of a pain to get on right - their one drawback as far as I'm concerned.

A tip on proper application: Steam up your bathroom by running hot water for about 10 minutes with the door closed. Give it another 10-20 minutes for the fog to evaporate, then go in with your PSP and an overlay. You might also want to be sure you don't have a linty shirt on. THEN you carefully peel 1/3 or so off one edge (note which side has the peel off backing sticker) and align it before you expose the rest. Then with a finger trailing down the middle (or an applicator card firmly applied), pull the backing off while pushing down and forward to apply the overlay.

I've had to re-try a couple of times and I've even done them before. If they get messy with fingerprints, run them under water to get the oils off.

didn't mean to be "snarky", but you told me all the protectors that came with the paks are "total garbage", i was just glad there are others who disagree.

A friend brought his new PSP over the other night and with all due respect, the Nyko one (I'm fairly sure it was that brand) looked pretty awful. But to each their own - it's nothing to me what people use.

bonkeykong - i ordered mine on the night of the 28th from the website, got a confirmation of order processed and shipped the next morning on the 29th, and i just received them today (april 4). It said in the email 1-6 weeks and i was expecting longer because it is shipped from around the world from hong kong. I have not applied it on yet, im still cleaning my psp until its perfect..i bought a twin pack.

I ordered one from Overlayplus last week (Monday I think it was), and it just arrived at the post office today. I shipped normal speed mail, which clocks it in about 7 days from start to finish. But I'm in california (same place as the shipper I believe), so your mileage might vary.

I just apply my Martin Fields Screen Protector on my PSP on Firday but when today Monday I noticed that my soft case PSP word is now on my PSP screen. Does anyone have this problem? I m assuming if I remove the sceen and reapply it back on my PSP it will correct the problem.

Some screen protector is thinner/softer. This will be more difficult to apply to the psp screen which easily create bubble.
I bought mine (oppss...i forgot the brand) which is thicker/harder and i got no problem with bubble. Don't worry, the quality
of the screen is still perfect with no drop on resolution. Previously i use to apply screen protector to my pda and failed many
times to get the satisfactory results and now i know the reason why.

Martin Fields Screen Protector or Brando PSP Body Screen Protector? Any opinions will be appreciated. Thank you.

There are 4 reviews of each product on this website plus 4 pages of discussion threads here and 3 pages for the Brando and you still need more opinions?

I was using the Mad Catz protector packs. I had three, I'm on my third now...FINALLY got it on without any bubbles. I have a Martin Fields but haven't applied it yet simply because I don't want to waste the Mad Catz until it gets to a point where I need to change it.

I'm thinking that the Brando protector is probably the best. The Catz and Martin overlays only protect the screen; what's going to protect the rest of the unit from getting scratched?
