i hate how one ear thingie is really long and the other is really short, i know there supposed to be like that and the longer ear is meant to go behin your head but its really annoying

That's exactly the same for me! The right ear feels fine but the left one hurts like hell!

Logic 3 make a replacement remote to those who already have different headphones, for those who dont, look into getting some sony fontopias (the really in ear ones), theyre pretty cost effective and a great upgrade

I have the Playgear Stealth earbuds and the remote would match the style and color of my PSP. i wouldn't buy them though.

ya when i sleep with them in it hurts the hel out of my ears it feels like i am putting a blunt object in my ear

Good trick by sony, first sell us a remote that doesn't match the PSP and then a year later bring us matching for $39.95 retail....
(while the whites go on ebay for about $6 brand new) Guess those who want it just have to wait or pay the price...
