This is a direct conversion of the critically acclaimed arcade fighting game, Street Fighter Alpha 3. Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max is enhanced with additional original content specifically designed for the portable system including Wi-Fi functionality and extra gameplay modes. Adding to an impressive roster of more than 30 renowned characters from the world famous Street Fighter universe, four additional fighters are joining the fierce competition.
A gameplay mode new to the Street Fighter Alpha series, Variable BattleMode, has been implemented to allow real-time tag team brawls. Tag out and the second fighter enters performing a jump attack, a move useful for escaping tight situations. Yun, Maki and Eagle, from Capcom vs. SNK 2, as well as Ingrid from Capcom Fighting Evolution, enter the arena and are perfectly reproduced with all new original storylines. Versus battles heat up with the Wi-Fi League Battle Mode that allow a maximum of eight players to duke it out in round-robin mini tournaments.
Gamers can choose an 'ism' to govern a characters ability to perform powerful combo moves and select from a host of different gameplay modes which offerendless replay value. Arcade Mode pits the player in a series of matches against CPU controlled opponents. In Survival Mode, battle against a series of enemies until getting KO'd. Dramatic Battle Mode lets players team up with a CPU controlled character to fight an enemy. Fight the final boss in Final Battle Mode. Play alone or with friends in four network modes: Go mano-a-mano with any playable character in Versus Mode. Select a team of three characters and engage in a series of team battles withTeam Battle Mode. In Versus Dramatic Battle Mode, mix and match the combinations of brawlers as gamers can stack the deck against an opponent with 2 characters-on-1 character matches. Participate in infinite tag team competitions with Verses Variable BattleMode.
yea yEA YEA!!! STREET FIGHTER 4 PSP!! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY A GAME IM LOOKIN FORWARD TO. I have street fighter 4 super nintendo and i love that game. I cant wait to get it.
i think it's alpha 3, i hope that they don't just do a half hearted job like they did with darkstalkers. they should make animations and screen fit the psp rather than just streaching the 4:3 ratio screen. give it some speed, some zoom in when the fighters are close in, maybe add a couple of hidden char from other series like strider. or hide that silly puzze fighter game in there. update the game and give it something unique!
i mite get this looks like u may have sum fun with this as long as the gameplay is long n by that i mean u can unlock a loada charaters that wud b great.Cirus u r rite they shoud bring out tekken or soul calibre 2da psp that wud b gansta!!
morvel vs capcom would be sick, but this is a good alternative for now. i swear to god if this is 50$ though.....a direct port should never cost even 40$ in my book but i'll pay 40 for street fighter
I'm all for it as long as the following modes and features are included since this game builds off of the GBA's Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper (the only new character is Ingrid. Maki, Eagle and Yun appeared in the GBA version first).
- ONLINE PLAY and for all of the competitive modes.
- Four Player Dramatic Battle (like in the Dreamcast version)
- WORLD TOUR MODE! I missed it in the GBA version...
Then this will be the perfect version of Alpha 3 (if and only if the controls are worked out in simple and complex fashion).
