Ok first off I really doubt it will be a FPS, none of the other ones were, it was a stealth/TPS.
And second, the shoe thing would be pretty cool.

Yes, I read an article in Game Informer about this. It seems very interesting, good to see the series returning to it's roots.
Only thing I have against it is that it supposedly will have the same controls as Coded Arms, which will severly limit the game.

Yeah I wouldn't expect an FPS from the Syphon Filter series but you never know. We'll find out as more info is released. But I'll be keeping an eye out for this since I really enjoyed Syphon Filter on the PS1.

finally, a decent Shoot'em'up for the psp which dosen't involve aliens. Shyphon Filter was a great game. I was gutted when back when I had a ps1 and I wasn't aloud Syphon Filter 3 because it was a 15 or sumthin This will kick ass though

Regardless of those shots coming from a camera, what can be made out looks pretty spectacular.

Yep this looks nice. But look at the screen shots, does it look like an FPS? TPS more than likely than anything. Same as the old ones. FPS just doesn't seem like it would work well. Take Coded Arms for example, a little quirky on the controls.

yea, im all for this! I had the first one, got it the day I bought my ps1. Along with tenchu, and coolboarders 3. hehe memories! A new one would be a welcome addition, as long as they keep the same elements. A solid game, through and through!

Yeah. I have the magazine that has the article for this. When I first looked at the pictures in my mag, I was positive that it was PS2. When I saw it was for PSP, i was in shock. I looks so identical to console's it's insane. The fact that it's going to be online gets me even more pumped up. The last couple Syphon's weren't too good, but this one looks promising. I like the fact that their not supporting "Auto Aim". They want the game to be a real challenge. If I could find the magazine, I would quote what they said, but they said their not trying to make it easy like other games that are coming out for psp that have the Auto Aim feature. I LOVE THAT! I know others will disagree.edited: Oct 30 2005

You may TubTak. Then again I have no friggin' clue. Just go pick up the first one. The second is an add on, but the third I'm pretty sure doesn't even matter. I didn't play the third one so, whatever. The second SF was by far my favorite.
