I wanted to inquire about the load times. I'm getting really ticked off wit the super long load times of Star Wars BF2 as well as Untold Legends. Also, how are the controls, what controls what?
I've been playing this all weekend and the load times are minimal. Just long enough to take a drink and stretch your fingers *45 seconds at the most*. The controls use the analog stick and the right control buttons. The R shoulder is your fire button. Left 'locks on'. The lock on isn't a great way to get a kill unless your right NEXT to someone. The square, triangle, circle.. control look direction and body movement. If your hiding behind something..they control the aiming reticle. If you're walking, they control your direction you're facing. The D pad allows you to change weapons *right button*, change headsets/scopes..infra-red..etc. *left button* & crouch *down*. Its a fun and addicting game. It's kind of a series of puzzles. The controls take some time to get used to though they start to feel natural after a while. There are ALOT of different weapons and the game environment is very well rendered. I don't think the load times will bother you at all..nor the controls. Its a worthwhile investment.
I didn't jump on the band wagon as soon as the PSP was launched due to my being a skeptic. So I continued with my PS2. On Friday the 13th of this year, I decided I had a few extra hundred dollars to spend, so I went out and got the PSP and some extra accessories, but I needed a good game to compliment it. I went with SYPHON FILTER: Dark Mirror. My lord! I could not believe what an unbelievable job SONY did with the PSP, not to mension the Syphon Filter graphics, game play, control, sound, I mean, it was so unbelievable, that I took off two days from work, just to keep playing this thing! I love the ease of the games' control, and the storyline. I was a fan of the PS Console's Syphon Filter, and the transition was GREAT! The game was worth the $40.00, and the PSP stuff I bought was worth the $300.00+ I spent. Thank God for the PSP! It goes everywhere with me, even to meetings! I can't wait for Silent Hill to hit the PSP in 2007, as well as Hitman, or Max Payne.... if ever!
my 2nd ever psp game. and it was this game that got me hooked ^^ the graphics are perfect, controls and camera smooth and the multiplayer is a blast. just like ye good ol' psx games but with a modern flavour to it.
