Battles for world domination have been dragging on for generations. Now Allen of Zodia rises to end all wars and bring peace to the world. After the opening story, the player uses the strategy mode to build and strengthen the kingdom. In the beginning, the kingdom is small and weak. However, as you progress through the game, the player can conquer neighboring kingdoms and stretch its ruling powers throughout the land of Duke.

I'm sick of games being announced half a year in advance! This is just ridiculous. Games should be released on the same type of schedule as movies, with publisher's only talking about them soon enough in advance to generate buzz but not so soon that the buzz has time to completely die. Are we really expected to care about this title by the time Spring 2006 rolls around? To me, it already looks like about a year out of date!
I'm most certainly getting this one. It's made by Nippon Ichi, the same folks who made La Pucelle, Disgaea, and Phantom Brave. NIS America is the locilazation group.
I agree with dpaint4, this is bull when it comes to game makers anouncing their Sh*t year and a half before it comes out! By the time it comes out the buzz is already dead or almost gone! Maybe their just slow in the head????
Hey Puyo, good point. I didn't realize it was a Nippon Ichi gem. I hope it has a similar feel as the games you mentioned. 30 vs. 30 battles sounds immense. I can only imagine the chaos... hey... I made a funny! :-)
It's Nippon Ichi so really, it'll probably be gold. I'm willing to check it out from work based on that alone...they have yet to disappoint me (La Pucelle? Great. Disgaea? Awesome. Phantom Brave? Great. Makai Kingdom? Best yet)
ok everybody trust me! if you really like strady rpg games and are not afraid of new thing syoull love this game! its simply amazing! the har dpart is the learning curve, but dont judge the game by the manual, but what the game offers after u master it (which can take up to 4 hours so you also needa be pacient for this game). dont listen to ign and other game sites who played this game for only an hour and dont know what they are talking about. read player reviews, and most of them are 9, some 8 out of 10. there was only one 4 out of 10, but thats acceptable since 1 dude on a website actually gave god of war a 0(idiot). anyway once you went past the learning curve this game rocks! its simply awsome, and a must have for stradegy gamers!!!!
