The SoundFeeder Digital Wireless Stereo Music Adapter allows you to transmit the audio from any portable audio player to your car's FM radio in stereo. The electronics of the SF250 are based on Phase Lock Loop (PLL) synthesized circuitry. This technology allows you to tune in to a specific frequency, a definite advantage as you'll not have to deal with "electronic drift."

How is the sound quality compared to a direct connection? I remember trying an FM feeder a while ago, and it cut the treble range and gave the music a "muffled" sound.

lol, doesnt seem like a geeky product to me. seems like a product you buy when you want to use your PSP as an in car MP3 player. CD's are great and all, but car MP3 players are awesome and this will help use the PSP for that reason. There are a lot of these types of transmitters, however this one looks a little less cheap than most that i have seen. it might be worth the buy for people who use their PSP for music.

I use this device for my car stereo - great for watching movies and playing music.

You can also use it for surround sound gaming! The connection is good, as long as you have a nice stereo.

I own a Tunecast II. There's a lot of static sounds when I'm driving in town (higways and country are ok). How's this one when used in big city?

Yeh. you can use a cassette adapter but most people now days have upgraded to a premium cd player. The fm transmittter would probly be the best bet for me.

Hey guys, I handle tech support for Arkon so if you have questions I'd be glad to hear them. Nothing is going to beat direct stereo L/R connection, but the quality of the SF250 is impressive. Even in Cali where there is hardly a blank station, it will "over-ride" the existing station. Preset stations: 88.1,88.3,88.5,88.7,107.1,107.3,107.5,107.7. Works best with fresh batteries, Line-Out jack, 5' from the radio.

This is a great device for cars with built in antenna on windshields. A word of advice in make sure the volume on your PSP in not at FULL level or you will receive a muffled sound on heavy base songs. I just got mine yesterday and my stereo is stock and it works perfect. Surround sound on the games, movies and be carefull not to play movies while driving or you may get pulled over. A new law in Illinois at least is if a movie is in the drivers vision you will get fined.

I have an arkon mount on the dash of my '04 F-150. I picked up an FM Transmitter with the same preset stations as the one the arkon teck guy was speaking of and I wouldn't really recommend it to anyone. If there is a station that the FM Transmitter is trying to override you will get a muffled sound and a good amount of static. Thankfully my truck has a CD and cassette player so I think Im gonna try the cassette adapter.

my dad and sis both have car steros with a AUX port
they got it specifically for that because music sounds crisper when you have a direct connection, i really dont hear the differenct between that and an fm transmitter, but the cable is cheap and it does sound great
