DF 2 PSP is a simple tool for converting PDF documents and print outs into JPEG images suitable for displaying on the Sony PSP handheld game console. This allows you to download e-books, game manuals, album liners, etcetera to your PSP. Once they're on your PSP, you can read them anywhere - on the bus, at your desk, or on your couch.
Because of the extensive PDF support built right into OS X, any document you can print can be stored as a PDF and converted and downloaded to your PSP. Imagine using PDF 2 PSP to save driving directions from Mapquest, or headlines from CNN!

You can do that in Windows by pressing "Print Screen"...

Gosh, Spider. I didn't realize print screen let you format the .bmp as a JPEG, scale it to fit the PSP's screen and copy it to the PSP's Photo folder. Thanks for letting me know!

you could hypothetically have a large image, like a map, where it would be handy to use the zoom feature

That is exactly right. In fact, one of the things I've done with it is to download star charts for amateur astronomy.

Nice tool .. but for Windows user i would advise Adobe Acrobat (not the reader) where you simply can save a pdf as .jpg .. much easier

if you still have 1.5 you can just use the pdf viewer that was put out (google for it) it works with 90% of my pdf!
