btw this game was on the ps2 on summer 2005 .. i played the demo even though it was short i played it for and days after each other... hundreds of diffrent enemies and more then 100 weapons (self build) at least that was on the ps2 .. monter hunter 2 for ps2 is also coming summer or end of this year.. but yea i guess if u didnt palyed the first on ps2 yet.. and u liek rpg/slash u WILL love this game!
Only one week left to go for us Europeans! :D Can’t wait, though I doubt it’s as good Play Magazine says (they rated it 9.5), still I think it’s going to be a great game
And someone in the staff should rename it to MH Freedom...
W00t I received my promo ex today!! Let me start by telling you how much I love character creation and customization - I never thought that they would put much effort in it, but there are actually more than 20 different heads to choose from, about 15 or so hairstyles (can't remember now because I'm way too excited here :P) and even 16 different voices!
I'll tell you more about it later on, if anyone's interested, but right now I have to hit the gym before this game takes away all of my spare time
+ Highly detailed world - wonderful environments
+ Impressive creatures, good variety
+ Very good character customization
+ Seems rather rich on content
- Combat somewhat sloppy
- Areas are very small - think Fable, only worse
- Should’ve picked a different font (yes, I mean for subtitles and such)
I'm enjoying the game so far but I certainly do not think of it as the best PSP-game available or even among the top three, not that I was expecting to see anything ground breaking either - but I did hope for something better than this. I'll probably rate it a 7, no less than that at least. Was hoping that it would feel closer to an 8 though...
Anyhow, who am I to judge the game already, really? I'll play it for another couple of days before I write my review - don't worry
