Come to think of it, this is the same one. But the first link is modified to a vent mount.

I'm surprised this board is full of soccer moms.

"i come from a family of police men" = Agent808
"I smoke weed while driving, talk on my cell phone, and used to watch my dvd player while driving. I love this, you can pop it off if the cops stop you" - rasronin
not that smart retard... lay off the pot youve killed too many brain cells. Ever heard of an IP address? police and anyone good with a computer can easily trace your IP addy straight to you.
AND if you seriously NEED to watch dvds, spiderman 2, and play video games even in the car, it is you that needs a life...

These mounts are awful. I had one for my Pocket PC GPS system but sold it after a day of use. They look stupid and can attract car thieves, even if you don't have anything mounted on it. Plus the suction is so tight that you have to really pull on it. I don't want to ruin my windshield or end up hitting something after pulling it out. The thing is, if you have a new car, the flexible neck for the mount may make contact with your dash and scratch it up, depending on how you flex it. I had mine resting on my dash so that the weight of the Pocket PC was supported by the dash, but it made marks. Plus, when driving 100 km/hr on the highway this thing may eventually fall off due to the weight of the PSP.
If PSP is going to use GPS, they should have had Bluetooth capability, which would have made it compatible with most Bluetooth receivers.

Even if you have not heard of Arkon (and judging by your grammatical/spelling skills, you're perhaps too young to ever come across the name), they are actually a very popular name in vehicle mounts. But I agree with you; it is crap!

Damn... not too sure if anyone is thinking clearly at all here. It's a power solution and amplifier for directions and phone calls. Since when did the PSP become a GPS device with phone capabilites? Perhaps, we're missing a possible upcoming USB accessory for PSP?
Here is the OFFICIAL description of the product:
"Features Arkon’s CM075 powered cradle coupled with the CM088 15" steel gooseneck seat mounting pedestal. This cradle not only provides power for you PSP or PMP portable media player, but it includes an amplified speaker as well. Clearly hear GPS directions or phone calls from you PSP. This solution is just one of many options for mounting your PSP or PMP Portable media player in your vehicle."
Read it. Seems all people can really do is read the comments forgetting the reason they're commenting in the first place.

I can't believe how many people start raving about the PSP in driver's view being "illegal" when I know SO many people that have custom installs in their cars/trucks with LCD's in the dash, sun visors, headrests, etc. Some people spend thousands upon thousands of dollars putting more A/V equipment in their cars than I have in my house, yet when somebody shows a $40 bracket to hold their PSP eveyone jumps all over them. Lame.

hahahahahahhahahahaha that's the gayest (happiest) thing I've ever seen
+
heyhey hey, I've got it, put a toilet paper roller attachment on it. That way when I'm playing on the stool, I wont have to reach over I can just tear a sheet, whipe my ass, and keep playing.

Hello Thread Posters,
I work for Arkon and wanted to respond to some of the comments posted here:
Godlike- The gooseneck is flexible aluminum. I handle the returns and have yet to see one snap.
SolidSnake- We have been making PDA solutions for over a decade. PSP's in the car is inevitable.
Bonkykong- We do not recommend playing the PSP while driving
rpgEmotion- Both are items from our inventory. We do have a number of resellers. As for the vent mount, we design our mounts and cradles to be interchangeable.
Jackkstraw- ???
Cryptic1- Can't please all the people all the time
Kirellon- I can only agree with you on the first part I go on road trips all the time and wouldn't leave home w/o it.
pspdan- I use a small piece of cloth to prevent dash wear. I've personally roadtested my mount at 100mph with no problems. I can only respect your personal opinion about looks. I would recommend removing the mount when parking your car in a questionable area.
Varchesis- You make a valid point. PSP can not yet support GPS or PHONE options and this description can be misleading. I will modify the description. Thank you for your input.
Vassago- Thank you.
