We're not sure what the fascination with monkeys (saru) is, but the character in this game appears to be on a mad hunt for monkeys in a 3D platform world. This is a remake of the PlayStation classic.
This is part of the game Poposaru Academia...Somehow the story line of the two intermix. Its just that Academia you are a monkey working for the evil villan. And in this one you are the good gy trying to get through the monkeys. (Or I could just be completly off my rockers and don't have any clue what I am talking about.)
yeaaaa...after reviwing poposaru acedemia, I was really bummed out they didn't make it the platformer it was intended to be, which this is exactly what this game here is. Now I'm lookin' forward to this. Although the orignal used dual controllers to make it unique, I wonder what the PSP will have in store for this version...
I found the controls made my left hand hurt after a while. It is a little ackward to be using the joystick and having to press the top left button all the time. I'm not used to a 3-D enviroment game without two joysticks, one for each thumb. Because of this, it's hard to get the camera in an angle that I can tell if I am going to catch the monkey or not. Other then that, this game is fun and i would spend more time playing but my hand hurts after about 15 minutes.
hey whoever here like ape escape get this one man this ones graphics are insane!!! i got mine for free but i wouldnt buy it just for you people out there who like ape escape serieses.
okay heres the deal both developed by the same company both have same graphics style in on the loose you play a kid trying to to take the mind controlling helmets of the monkeys which are being controlled by the evil dude in Poposaru Academia and in that game you play the mindcontrolled monkeys and some odd amount of minigames
i liked it for a while. i'm stuck in the carnival area with the race car. i thought the controls were ok, but the loading times and the automatic camera angles were infuriating.
I got this game for free with the psp as a gift and it was the only game i had for a while. It was pretty cute and interesting for a few days but then the damned monkeys were faster and began shooting at me.. the controls are a bit hard. I dont like the fact that if your off by just a tad bit, the monkeys run away, turn around and shoot you... I still cant pass the second vs. stage... anyone beat it?
