The above product details were taken from Sony, so I would imagine they were correct when referring to the ability to use this Memory Stick with the PSP. You are right that the PSP won't be able to make use of the hi-speed features, but it wouldn't make any difference anyway. The point is that you can put the hi-speed MS Pro Duo in a hi-speed compatible card reader, fill it up, and then put it in your PSP, which should make things faster.
