july 28th seems too good to be true, but heres hoping. anyways, i really hope they fix the camera and controls and add a little more to multiplayer. this game has potential but i dont think its ever been brought that far yet. definately renting it, just have to see if its worth buying.

YAY! and I whole heartedly agree about the camera issues. I loved the first one and couldn't play the second one at all due to the camera problems.

No word on a NA/EU release date, but considering the PSP is region free... the only limitation would be trading missions and of course the language barrier. Of course the UMD video will not play on NA/EU PSPs.

i totally agree. the first one was an absolute classic. the second had terrible redraw distance issues. cliffs would just appear 10 feet in front of you from nowhere as you walked towards them.
how playable do people think this game would be in japanese as my gf lives there and could send it to me.

New Information:
Multi-player will consist of both co-op and vs just as Wrath of Heaven. Also, user created missions can be used in multi-player.
Also, users will be able to created dialog in the mission editor.
Rin, Tesshu, Rikimaru and Rin will be playable in the single player at the beginning. It's rumored that Onikage will be playabel as well.

Wicked, wanted to play the other games but just didn't get a chance, hopefully it will be better than the reviews on the old games. Most were medium at best.

pay no attention to reviews of previous games. they were very much maligned. the games were outstanding.
also, onikage is playable in this new game! with his own scenario!

not really. ninja gaiden is pure frenetic action. tenchu is slow restrained stealth.
