Yeah, same here. amiga pygnosis mmmm. For the record the same people who brought us wipeout (the first edition) also brought us lemmings.
Worms3D is definately fun, but it's a very different game. Worms is a shoot your enemies. Lemmings is a use a bunch of tools to rescue as many of the little buggers as you can. Just don't forget, lemmings are suicidal!!
Worms (and worms 3d) borrow a lot of the "cutiness" that Lemmings introduced into this genre.
As to the interface conern. I played this on a CD32 (?name?) which was the console version of the Amiga 500. It played well with a joystick. Tricker at points but I'd imagine the analog stick and the collection of buttons the PSP offers will leave us with a good interface.
man, in later levels of lemmings I had trouble playing it with a mouse.. lol Seriously though, lemmings is a fun and addicting game.. perfect for amiga back when psygnosis was the best company to make games for and this will probably be even better on handhelds for on the fly lemming destruction.... or rescuing.
"Gods" on the Amiga was one of the coolest. I thought Gods was a Pygnosis title as well, but actually it's a Bitmap Brothers title. Given the gameplay and graphics, it would port pretty well to the PSP. I'd rather see Gods than Worms.
