Pursuit Force for the PSP system brings Hollywood-style movie action to life by delivering high-speed vehicle chases and thrilling shootouts, all in the quest for justice. In Pursuit Force, players take the role of a young rookie police officer, responsible for tracking down and thwarting five criminal gangs in and around Capital City.
Pursuit Force presents a variety of gameplay elements for each criminal case, including collect and follow assignments, high-speed pursuit, on-foot action, and aerial attacks. Featuring an innovative gameplay mechanic where players can jump from vehicle to vehicle at speeds of more than 150 MPH, Pursuit Force keeps the action moving seamlessly. Players will hang perilously as they battle with enemy gangs and attempt to commandeer a number of vehicles. Players will skirt along city highways and dusty tracks in speeding cars, bikes, SUVs, and buses, and high-powered speedboats are available for chases through metropolitan waterways and scenic, canyon-lined rivers.
You're right, the video footage does look pretty great. But does it bother anybody else when game screenshots are obviously _not_ of gameplay screens? I mean are those screenshots above from a CG sequence or an instant replay? I hate it when racing games show of their graphics by showing you the cool camera angles during instant replays... I wanna see what I'm going to be seeing 90% of the time, the racing views. That being said, I like the Matrix-like jumping from one speeding vehicle to the next. Who needs realism? Give me a badass who doesn't need to obey the laws of physics anyday!

the screenshots are kinda ingame, they are taken from the devkit which allows for the same game code to run at higher resolutions.
I played this Pursuit Force at E3 and it was my favorite PSP game at the show. The graphics were top notch and gameplay was fast fluid and fun. You can ether chase your bad guy and shoot him down which takes longer or when you get close you can jump out onto his hood or rear. Then shoot with the R1 button and press Square to hide and dodge the enemy bullets. Sometimes they can almost shake you off if you let them. At one point near the end of the level I jumped onto a helicopter and used the machine gun to mow down the enemy cars on the ground. Good stuff.
