This new addition to the SOCOM series, takes place in four locations, with Chile being new. After a mission is completed, there is a new 'Instant Action' feature which allows you to replay the mission with new objectives. There will also be functionality to allow PSP users to sync up their PS2 information via USB cable, allowing the progress in both games to affect the missions. Furthermore, weapon customization will also be possible.
As can be expected, both Ad-Hoc and Infrastructure co-operative play will be possible, with the ability to form clans and do team-based play. By default, Fireteam Bravo will have two instead of a four-man team. Controls will also be optimized for mobile play.
Both. 16 players online and ad-hoc. I can't wait for this game! I WANT MY XM8 DAMNIT! *messes around with the various stock, barrel, scope, and magazine options for the XM8*
Dragon, relax, mic is only for chat, not for voice commands, sorry; and Crackelagent, lemme put it this way... Socom is to Coded Arms as GTAAny of the 3D ones we know and love) is to GTA:1 or 2... Mathematical translation : It's so good, you'll forget the other ever existed...
I know that on the PS2 some shooter games require both analog sticks to move [one to turn and one to go forward, backward, or side-to-side] I am guessing that this game runs on the thumb stick, correct?
That would be a determining factor in buying this.
Can you customize controls?
