GripShift is one of the first video games for the PSP system to combine high-flying stunt driving and unique puzzle-solving action in an all-out, pedal-to-the-metal racing experience. Players will race as one of six unique characters in supped-up, customizable vehicles as they stunt their way through insane twisting levels while collecting power-ups, avoiding traps, beating the clock and challenging friends. Featuring more than 100 levels of puzzle-like challenges in fun, vibrant environments, and additional bonus games, players can race solo or with up to three other players via the PSP system’s built-in wireless feature.

yea for real!!........but i know a lot about this game cuz i went to gamespot.com(not gamestop!)....and i wached developer interview and stuff
but i think one of the coolest things about this game is that u can make ur own track and stuff (like ps2 thug versions)

Yeah, except that here in Arizona, at least Arizona, it's not coming until the 20th of September, so I dont how this date was picked?! Anyone ACTUALLY getting this thing tomorrow?edited: Aug 01 2005

i went to gamestop.com and they said they dont got it............cap no offense but a lot of ur dates are wrong like the playgear visor and street(u said they came out june or july 24th?), well they actually come out on aug 9th........so can u please start putin the wright dates??

He might find it offensive that you can't spell.......just maybe a little....sorry......but, you can't spell, he can't get the dates right.....seems to me that you two are even!

Eeesh! Give Captain a break. He doesn't have any more of an inside track than any of us who can search the web for products and rely on release dates provided by others. Sometimes it's right, sometimes it's wrong. Even the most "connected" companies are wrong when the developers of products don't hit their target date.
This site is just helpful in so many ways. Inaccurate release dates are just a fact of life anywhere.
P.S. And, yes, please learn to spell! ;-)

The release date is (and always has been) 19 September in the US.
No release date outside of Europe has been set yet.

See, thats what I thought! The 19th, but AZ is getting it I guess on the 20th , or at least the store. And Captain could do a slight bit more homework and call a store or two, because they have books with this information available months in advance! I knew about the September date it seems....for forever! Thank you MarioW!

To be fair to Captain, release dates are always pretty hard to predict, especially when a lot of retail stores just make dates up so they can kick off preorders. I'd avoid getting any dates from retailers and try to source information from the publisher.

i DO know how to spell!!! I was just in a hurry that time so i kind of used that "aim talk" (u,ur,r,putin). And Panther, i know its hard for captain and all, but it isnt that hard to get the right dates. There are so many web sites he could go to! (EX: Gamespot,GameFAQs,EBgames,ect.)
So Captain please can you start putting the correct dates? But dont take this the wrong way!! This is my FAVORITE psp site ever! And im not just saying that, i truly give you credit Cap, you have an amazing site!
(so please dont band me........i would kill my self!!)

PSP, the Racing, Driving, Simulation and now Stunt Driving Portable Platform. Seems like 90% of the games are racers. At least they have been fun.

Well, the screenshots with the attached article are old taken from before E3 (the game has had another 4 months development since then).
You can find more recent screenshots at link There should be some movies released in the next few weeks too which should give you some idea of what the final version is like too.
