so i'm guessing you basically watch the game happen with all the players you traded for etc... then while watching you can influence your teams chance of winning. oh i know, is this like armored core:formula front PSP for football hehe?
unfortunately because of memory constraints in this game you won't be able to actually see the game but you will get a rolling comentary on the screen, for example.."Beckham crosses the ball into the box for Rooney, Great volley by Rooney into the top corner of the net, That's one nil to Brentford" ;-P
I believe the Mac and PC Versions of the game will let you see the game. I would be surprised if there isn't some form of video mode. However, most of the time when I play a Management type game, I'm only interested in the outcome, so I skip watching the actual game. The point is building the team into a winning team, not the individual games.
Management games are something which are a 'normal' genre in Europe but haven't really broken through in America yet (although this might change as we've released a Hockey game).
The idea is that you manage a team of players, handle the media, set the team tactics, try and keep the players happy etc. - basically everything that a real team manager has to do irl. If you follow a sport then you're probably familiar with the feeling that 'if only they'd play this tactic' they'd be winning, or 'why isn't player 'x' playing?' ... management games allow you to prove that you're right (or not as the case may be).
If you're interested then sigames.com has demo's of our existing PC based games available for download.
Hope this helps,

hold on a sec, theres no actual game to watch due to memory constraints????? funny how theres footy manager games on the ps2 that dont have this problem then isnt it
if this game is anything like it's predecessors it will be absolutely bloody amazing. i was always pissed off that they never released something like championship manager for the gameboy back in the day.
oh wow! I have been playing this game from the early days of the amiga and atari st! I am originally from england so i grew up with these games, and there is nothing better! WHo cares if you do not get to see the action, that is not the point! The point is to assemble a squad and turn them into the best team in the world! Marc Vaughan i salute you and all the guys at SI GAMES! thanks for all the happy memories, and may they continue! Please release this in the states to appease you american based english fans!
