Virtua Tennis World Tour will feature a playable array of internationally renowned tennis pros in addition to a make-your-own player mode, exclusive mini-games, and original courts. Wi-Fi gameplay is supported, encouraging up to four friends to play together.
Virtua Tennis World Tour features three core gameplay modes: World Tour, in which players travel the globe using a custom-created character to win cash; Exhibition, where players can take control of a pro tennis all-star for one-off matches; and Tournament, which puts players in knockout sessions where only the best will see victory.
totally agree. virtua tennis on dreamcast was rockin. hope the game play and graphics(dreamcast stardard wise hehehehe) is the same when it gets ported to PSP. i dont care so much about the graphics on psp anyway. its the addictin gameplay is where its at.
I think something people are missing is that PSP now has some real Sega support. That is awesome. Sega makes some great titles and hopefully VT will the beginning of a beautiful and long relationship.
virtua tennis was one of those sports games that made you forget it was a sports game - it was just too much fun to care! mmm 4 player doubles vs doubles
I am currently playing Virtual Tennis and Sega Tennis 2K for the dreamcast! It is really the best tennis game around! Hopefully there is the women's team.
Amazon says it will ship Sept 2 - this game is a Euro launch title. Lucky Euro are not getting short-shafted like all of us in NA. Even the Japanese have a ton of titles to choose from (mostly crap - but still).
