This indie favorite follows Napoleon Dynamite (Jon Heder), a quirky, ninja-loving teenager growing up in the far reaches of Idaho. Napoleon's life gets complicated when his shady Uncle Rico (John Gries) shows up, a shy girl (Tina Majorino) starts showing him some attention and his best friend Pedro (Efren Ramirez) decides to run for school president. Nominated for a Grand Jury Prize at Sundance in 2004.
Now I can watch this movie on my lunch breaks whilst eating tater tots which I store in my cargo pants pockets that I wear when I'm practicing my sweet dance moves. This movie is fippin' sweet.
LOL ... man I been religously eating tots for the past week or so because my backs been all ed up (couldn't stand to cook)... everytime they're done, I can't help but ALMOST put them in my pocket for some screwey reason.
just copy it from dvd (if you have it on dvd)and copy it to psp....I did it already......I think its a ripoff that you have to buy another copy of the movie...to each his own I guess.....
I have the DVD (not UMD). Unless you're into quirky artsy movies, I don't think you would enjoy this movie. I thought the movie overall was a B- at best. There were some funny parts, but if I had to do it over again, I would not have purchased the movie.
It's hard to believe that some people hate on this movie. I have watched this DVD at least 3 times. And I rarely watch a movie more than once. Even if I own the DVD. I am a total movie snob, and am very critical of all movies.
The only other movie that I have watched more than once this year was The Incredibles. Damn good films.
