PSP version of the well-known Wipeout franchise. Hi-tech weapons, high speeds, and more of that dance music soundtrack you all love. The game will feature downloadable content after release, allowing you to access new ships, circuits, skins and even music. You can also battle it out with 8 other players via WiFi.
oh man! i want this game so much its killin me! Ima huge fan of the wipeout series, so this is the first game im gettin.
And you can download new features off the internet. one of the best games on the PSP.
This game is essential to a PSP. Besides Lumines, I can't think of a launch game that has exceeded my thoughts for the PSP. Three Gamma Packs means your gaming will not end for a while. I hope there are 8 more add-ons for this game.
I've had this game for a while, and it is excellent. Well worth the buy. The only downside is that this is really one of those 'don't breath wrong'-type of games: once you get through a lot of the lower levels, trying to achieve the Gold medals (read: hidden bonuses, etc) could put you into the hospital for stress trauma! One little mistake and you might as well restart. (A real bummer if you screw up on race 5 of an 8-race tournament and start a losing streak.) Still, with the titles that have been released so far in the US for PSP, I would have to think this is a great value. With the addition of downloadable tracks (I think there have been about 5, now), this is a game which actually 'grows'. More than that, this is the ONLY way you can run (limited) internet browsing on v1.5 PSPs.
this was an awesome game. fun, beautiful, deep and FRUSTRATING AS HELL! i had a great time at first, but the difficulty curve on this game skyrockets faser than...well, an anti-grav rocket car.
this game came in with the giga pack, i hadnt heard about wipeout before, so i thought i'd give it a shot, it pretty awesome, i just bought the PSP 5 days ago when i finished school, i cant stop playing untill someone makes me, im just a trainee n it took me time to finish the first classic track, i played till 2 am when i finally got the gold medal..wonder how harder it gets
