because if you're sitting at your desk working on something like drafting, art, model airplane, you don't want to have to get up and walk to the book shelf to change songs.

Also, it sits well on the nightstand to watch a short show or 2 before bed. I would rather have the stand and the remote.

If your PSP is connected to your TV (which is often somewhat far away from you) then a remote should be of use

wuts with all this talk about a stupid remote.. gezz if u dont like the remote dont use it... its just for comfot.

every psp owner should have a cradel and in my oppinion they are all the same so just get the cheapest you can find cause they all do the same thing and you will get the same results.

Well I want something that's more than just a cradle - I'm not paying for a simple stand, that's just crazy Unless it's free or close to...

Thinking about getting the Logic 3 Sound Grip.

Well, this one does plug into the sound/control port and can charge it at the same time.

Yeah. I really don't know what they mean by 360. Maybe they are adding the tilt and the swivel together.

1: Its not like you're going to sit 5 miles away from it.

2: Why buy that, when you could simply put your psp against a wall, and plug some speakers to it to amplify the volume?"

because some of us like our desks to be clean, uncluttered and have all our electronics reside in their own place that showcases them and uses them to their potential.

you know this would be great, if you got like a converter to make your cd files mp3s, and mabye a 1 or 2 gib memory card, then you could get some sweet spearkers and let this baby rock lol

This is almost perfect for my needs! I don't want any speakers I just want a charging dock with an audio out port and the remote is a bonus. What I'm using now is just a basic charging dock that I had to cut a chunk out of to connect a cable to my stereo. I'd really like something like this that I could just shove the PSP into without having to fiddle with all these cables. While charging it I like to sometimes listen to music. Sometimes I like to listen to movies that I've seen a lot too, only occasionally glancing at the screen. The location I like to put it is next to my desk but it's just out of arms reach so I have to lift my butt off my chair a little to change songs or whatever. That takes critical time away from WoW play where every second counts, so the remote is a nice feature. I could see the remote being even more useful if one used it for music to a stereo at a party or something.
